About Us

Over 35 years ago our owner, George Hoge, decided he wanted to start a swimming pool company in Louisville, KY. He had been building pools with some partners in Lexington, KY and decided to focus his attention on building pools in the city to the west.  That decision led to the name Suntime Pools West, as we are west of the Kentucky River.

George recognized the need for a quality swimming pool builder in the area and started focusing on learning and perfecting the craft.  He decided to not only build quality swimming pools but good relationships with his customers with the hope of providing solid workmanship and support after construction.  That mindset is what led to the development of a quality retail and service operation.

We have grown over the years and now employ 50 people in season.  We will always strive to live up to what George has created.  Our goal as a company is to continue to work hard and provide our customers with the best experience possible.
